Catalog description

In this course, the student learns to identify normal changes and processes of embryogenesis and organogenesis, acquiring skills to identify, analyze, and relate the different stages of human development. This course also teaches the microscopic characteristics of the fundamental tissues in their descriptive, structural, and topographic aspects, observing histological sections of tissues in different fields. The theoretical component is developed through content lectures, and the laboratory sessions incorporate online resources with digital images. Multiple preparations are studied for basic and specialized tissue identification and embryos and fetuses in different developmental stages.
