This course is intended to provide students the knowledge and skills needed to defend against current cyber threats. The course begins with fundamental network security concepts and progresses to a in -depth discussion of current cyber threats, security con trols, incident response, and data protection. Students will learn how to identify and mitigate threats, how to implement security best practices, and how to raise security awareness within organizations. The course also addresses ethical and legal issues while providing hands-on experience with security tools. The course trains students to become network professionals capable of protecting networks, data, and privacy while adhering to cybersecurity regulations and standards.
