The computer hardware course is a hands-on laboratory-oriented course designed to introduce the student to the operation, support, and troubleshooting of PCs, peripherals, and network connectivity issues. Major terms covered in this course are hardware concepts, Troubleshooting, repair, ma intenance and support. It covers CISCO Router Technology and the beginning router configurations, routed and routing protocols, and an introduction to LAN switching. Discusses different LAN and WAN techniques and matches merits of user's requirements to me et business needs. This course prepares the student for the CompTIA A+ Hardware exam.
