Catalog description
This course provides the link between the theories of personality, theoretical models and the psychological counseling process focusing on evidence -based practices. It will give the students with the knowledge, experience and practice to integrate theoretical models and their respective techniques in a coherent conceptualization and intervention plan. At the end of the course the students will be able to: integrate the theories and models in the psychological counseling process; identify and apply the basic skills and techniques of the classic models of counseling psychology; explain and conceptualize the psychological processes of the participants according to the basic models of counseling psychology; and make intervention plans to satisfy the needs of the participants according to the basic models of counseling psychology.
