GRAPHIC DESIGN FOR COMMUNICATIONS

Catalog description

Introduction to the conception, visualization and production of Graphic Arts using the computer as a tool. Basic concepts of typography and the design and presentation of graphics will be explained. Fundamentals and skills in the use of software for digital design, as well as other uses in the production of logos, corporate image systems, design of posters, brochures and other electronic publications. Description and definition of the concepts: vector , raster, pixel and presentation programs. Students will produce a creative portfolio of projects assigned throughout the course.
