Catalog description

Study of the fundamental principles and techniques of digital sound production. The theoretical component includes a comprehensive overview of the radio business and addresses the legal, ethical, and administrative aspects of sound production. The audience, programming, script writing, equipment, and production facilities are studied. The course will emphasize the practical and technical aspects of sound content production. The stud ent will experience the creation of programs handling applications used in industry. The theoretical foundations of the nature of sound will be used in the processes of recording, editing and broadcasting the sound signal for radio, video and the Internet.
