Catalog description
The course focuses on the analysis of analytical methods currently used to detect, purify, and characterize therapeutic products related to biomolecules, such as deoxyribonucleic acids (DNA) and proteins. Emphasizes how relevant analytical instrumentation works, the interpretation of their analytical output signal, and their respective advantages and disadvantages. The course seeks to refine graduate students’ scientific reasoning and critical thinking skills. Information and communication technologies (TIC’s) are applied th rough Internet searches and discussion of related scientific articles.
