PRACTICAL INTERNSHIP IN CHEMISTRY II

Catalog description
The course allows the student to practice in an industry related to chemical sciences, offering you a vision of the professional life of a chemist in analysis laboratories, quality control, inspection, research and development, manufacturing, granulation, formulation or packaging. In addition, it allows you to apply the concepts and experiences acquired in the courses of the baccalaureate program in chemistry to real situations that you could face in your profession. The course entails carrying out an inter nship in an industry or laboratory related to chemistry in which at least 45 contact hours are required to pass the course which includes the preparation of the student for the internship center and the writing of a CV, cover letter, and preparation for a job interview. The course allows students to evaluate and improve their communication of the students when writing reports and reports of the activities and tasks carried out during the internship. Also, the strengthening of the skills that allow the student to work and be successful in their professional future, including technological competence and laboratory safety.
