Catalog description

This course provides an introduction to the principles, technologies, and strategies that drive eBusiness in today’s global marketplace. Students examine how organizations leverage digital technologies, internet-based platforms, and electronic communication systems to improve operational efficiency, enhance customer engagement, and create competitive advantage. Emphasis is placed on the integration of eBusiness practices within both emerging digital enterprises and traditional brick-and-mortar organizations. Topics include electronic commerce models, digital marketing strategies, database marketing, interactive telecommunications, multimedia applications, online consumer behavior, and the role of information systems in business transformation. Students will explore how technological innovation continues to reshape business processes, marketing exchanges, and organizational decision-making in rapidly evolving digital environments. The course also introduces strategic considerations related to technology implementation, data-driven business practices, and the expanding role of eBusiness across industries.
