This course establishes a foundational knowledge of human behavior in the social environment (HBSE). Students explore how biological, sociological, and psychological theories apply to the assessment, intervention, and evaluation of human behavior in the co ntext of the broader social environment. Particular attention is focused on the perspectives of paradigms, groups, culture, race, and poverty.
