Catalog description

In this course students will be introduced to the foundational structures and functions of the human body. Students will learn how to combine prefixes, suffixes, and root words to create medical terms. Additionally, students will explore concepts related to anatomy, physiology and associated medical terminology specific to the following body systems: Integumentary, skeletal, muscular, central nervous, peripheral and autonomic nervous, sensory, and endocrine.
