Catalog description

Designed for allied health learners with little or no biology knowledge, this course provides an introduction to the essentials of anatomy and physiology. Relationships between the structure and function of the human body and 189 the integration of systems to maintain homeostasis will be emphasized. The course also provides a study of human diseases with content focused on description, etiology, signs/symptoms, diagnostic procedures and treatments. Students will apply this knowledge to explain common diseases, disorders, and conditions.
