Catalog description

This course introduces basic principles and concepts of human psychology. Through examination of case studies and interactive activities, students explore influences on human behavior such as motivation, emotion, sexuality, and group membership. Additionally, students will have the opportunity to investigate cognitive strategies human beings use to learn and organize information. These include a focus on attention, perception, recall and visualization.
