CLINICAL MEDICAL ASSISTING PROCEDURES

Catalog description

This course is designed to teach the procedural knowledge, cognitive strategies, and technical skills required of medical assistants to provide fundamental patient care within ambulatory, urgent care, and acute care settings. Clinical instruction emphasizes the knowledge and skills medical assistants need to provide quality care to include diagnostics and treatments for diseases and disorders within general and specialty care settings. Prerequisites: ME1105, ME1200.
