Catalog description

This course provides the student with a basic understanding of interpersonal communication in the healthcare professional environment. Students will be exposed to a variety of organizational perspectives, research, and theories on understanding the diversi ty that exists within and between social groups in the workplace. Practical experience is gained in written and oral communication; development of these skills is integrated with the use o f technology.
