Catalog description

This course delivers an introduction to basic college math. Students review a range of mathematical principles as they relate to algebra, computation, geometry, and statistics. Attention is given to solving algebraic equations, applying the order of operat ions, and calculating fundamental statistical principles. Additional topics include measures of central tendency, ratios, principles of interest, commissions, discounts, and the m etric system.
