Catalog description

This course introduces the many facets of the public and community health system. It examines current endeavors being taken to promote population health and discusses efforts to measure health, disease, and illness. In addition, students will study the hea lth improvement process using selected frameworks. The variety of occupations and professions involved in public health, as well as the influence of these professions on the past, present, and future health status of society is explored.
