Catalog description

This course is an introduction on instructing patients in proper oral hygiene covering the importance of health histories, and vital signs. The specialty covered is periodontics. Other lab procedures include instruction in coronal polishing, impressions, fluoride treatments, bite registration, and management of hazardous materials and infection control. The course also helps students prepare for First Aid, BMW, and Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) certification requirements.
