BILLING AND CODING APPLICATION WITH SIMULATION

Catalog description

This course covers the abstracting of information from source documents for the application of codes according to coding guidelines. The student has the opportunity to apply procedure and diagnosis coding principles while advancing their knowledge of insurance billing concepts, procedures and applications necessary to file claims. The student will also perform management functions as it relates to accounts receivable. CPC Exam Review is included in this course.
