Graduate Real Estate Capstone

Catalog description

In this hybrid course you will conduct an original investigation in order to acquire new knowledge within a framework set by a client in practice. The primary goal of this research class is to deepen your personal understanding of a particular topic or issue in real estate development. A key secondary goal is to build your skills and confidence to make succinct public presentations of complex material. You will be assessed both on your final work product (written and oral) as well as your professional client communication along the way. Students are required to travel to New Orleans to present their final Capstone projects in person at the end of the semester.
