Catalog description
This is an online course in applied urban economics. This courses focuses on the study of urban areas, their economic advantages, and the interactions of housing, transportation, education, crime, and local government policy and how they determine the evolution or demise of cities. In class, students will discuss empirical evidence about issues and policy interventions within each system and apply this knowledge to analyze and propose solutions to issues in their city of choice.
