Catalog description

The goal of this course is to introduce students to the design and financial process of real estate development. Real estate development is a creative process in many ways, and students are encouraged to be innovative in their thinking (financial, programmatic, etc.) and design work. Students are expected to work regularly and productively in fulfillment of the assignments. In order to receive effective feedback, students are expected to provide accessible digital copies of ongoing design explorations demonstrating forward progress prior to the beginning of every session. Students are also expected to integrate knowledge and skills acquired in previous courses.
