Ethical and Inclusive Leadership
Tulane University of Louisiana · UGRD · Fall 2026
1 section
Catalog description
We often talk about leadership in academia as if it occurs in a vacuum. Leaders must make difficult decisions that impact real people, communities, and organizations. Compelling leadership starts with a strong sense of self and a firm understanding of the construct in which you lead. We will explore theory and actual use cases of successful and unsuccessful leadership. Throughout this course, students will form an "ethical toolkit" to take forward in life as students, employees, and citizens to become influential leaders who create value.
