Catalog description
This course explores the challenges and opportunities of leading change within diverse community, organizational, and societal contexts. Students will evaluate and apply leadership concepts and practices to foster critical thinking, collaboration, and ethical decision-making in addressing complex issues. Emphasis is placed on inclusive and culturally responsive leadership, strategies for advancing responsible social and environmental transformation, and the role of change agents as visionary and creative influencers. Through academic-community partnerships, students will collaborate with practitioners from varied backgrounds to critically examine current challenges and develop actionable strategies that promote ethical and sustainable leadership in practice.
