Catalog description

This course introduces students to core leadership, analytical, and managerial competencies from a liberal arts perspective. From a programmatic belief that liberal arts students’ education is enhanced though a deeper historical and contextual understanding of the contemporary global economy and its practices, this course advances such understanding in the areas of digital innovation and properties; big data and analytics; entrepreneurship and collaboration; and creative/cultural industries. In the study of these areas, students will develop their knowledge in conjunction with personal reflection on their academic program and career goals.
