Advanced Public Health Evaluation Methods

Catalog description

In this course, students will learn about qualitative, quantitative, and mixed methods used for public health research and evaluation of public health interventions. Students will learn how to use, and the limitations of, surveillance systems and national surveys for assessing, monitoring and evaluating policies and programs. For the final project, students will design an evaluation to examine the implementation and impact of a public health intervention.
