Catalog description

This graduate-level course develops organizational leadership skills for public health professionals. Drawing from multiple disciplines, it equips students with adaptable strategies, models, and frameworks for collaborative consensus building to influence behavior and policy. Case studies challenge students to analyze problems and apply solutions to real-world dilemmas. The course emphasizes creating a personal leadership philosophy for lifelong learning. It operates on the premise that principled leadership fosters organizational effectiveness, adaptability, and goal achievement, enabling leaders to set direction, envision the future, and accomplish goals.
