Catalog description

How have Christians, Muslims, and Jews or members of other religions lived together in political communities of particular places and times? This course uses historical reports, memoirs, religious texts, fiction and film to explore tolerance and co-existence of different religious groups in societies drawn from different epochs in America, Europe, the Middle East and elsewhere.
