Catalog description

Professional Issues for MS Students is a 3-credit course intended to provide insight into the professional issues relevant to graduate study and careers in Psychology. This course is designed for terminal master’s students in Behavioral Health and Psychological Science to help them utilize and apply their skills and knowledge of psychology and to help prepare them for their future professions. The course consists of discussion of selected readings, career preparation activities, presentations, invited speakers, and evaluation/feedback as students develop their critical thinking, analytical, and communication skills.
