Mentored Instructional Aide Practicum

Catalog description

Master’s degree students who later plan to pursue doctoral training may desire experiences provided by teaching assistantships, such as assisting with laboratory courses, apply grading rubrics, or conducting review sessions. Concurrent with (or after) taking CELT 7010 Essentials of Learning & Teaching, students will assist with a psychology course whose instructor agrees to provide mentorship and feedback. Typically this course will be a course that warrants a supplemental instructor or that has a laboratory section.
