Catalog description

Through lectures and in-class discussions, students identify and investigate the state and federal laws governing employment in the U.S., focusing upon the disputes that may arise in the workplace. Practical exercises guide students in identifying and applying best practices for establishing, maintaining, and terminating the employment relationship; evaluating employment claims; and adhering to ethical practices. Cross-listed with BSLS 3390 – Employment & Labor Law (online).
