Introduction to the Legal System

Catalog description

Through lectures and practical exercises, students to examine the American legal system, including both civil and common law, focusing upon the role of the paralegal; master skills in vocabulary, interviewing and investigation, law office administration, legal document drafting, and litigation support; and recognize and apply principles of legal and professional ethics. Note: Satisfies one Social Science requirement for School of Professional Advancement majors.
