Statistics for Healthcare

Catalog description

This course introduces students to the core concepts of statistics for health care. Students will leave the class with an in-depth understanding of the essential concepts regularly used in clinical practice. The course will prepare students to calculate and visualize statistical properties of data sets. Students will be able to apply research studies to clinical practice, critique current health care studies as to the significance of the results and use technology to assist in basic statistical calculations.
