Introduction to Computer Applications In Music

An introduction to the critical role of computers in the music field today. As a survey of computer tools and techniques, this course will include applied work with notation, MIDI, digital sound editing, and multi-media software. This course has no required textbook. The course fee allows all students enrolled in the course to access Ableton Live Full Suite on their personal computers for the semester.
