Catalog description

This course introduces business students to modern artificial intelligence, with a particular focus on generative AI systems used for writing, analysis, ideation, and decision support. The course is designed to build practical fluency while also training students to think differently about AI: not as a substitute that “does the work,” but as a collaborative tool that can improve the quality of thinking and output when paired with clear goals, strong judgment, and responsible habits. Throughout the semester, students will learn what AI is, how it works at a high level, how to use it effectively, and how to reason about ethical and societal implications that matter for future business leaders.
