This course builds upon previous coursework introducing healthcare financial management to prepare students for success in future leadership roles through practical application of tools and techniques to assess financial health, manage expenses, and drive revenue growth. Emphasis is placed on leveraging financial insights to support effective leadership decision-making to improve organizational performance. Key topics include financial condition analysis, labor and non-labor productivity, profitability strategies, capital allocation, and aligning financial performance with physician collaboration.
