In this seminar, we will focus on big trends in technology over long periods of time and broad swaths of the globe. We will explore how people thought of, understood, used, or resisted various technologies across time and cultures as a means to better understand the world in which we live in today. This 4-credit-hour course satisfies the School of Liberal Arts Tier-2 Writing Requirement.
