Through practical exercises, lectures, discussions, and visual media, students examine the professional and ethical dilemmas legal professionals face and compare the ethical rules and professional standards developed by the American Bar Association, adopted by Louisiana, and presented as guidelines by the two major paralegal associations. Notes: Satisfies one Humanities course requirement for School of Professional Advancement majors.
