Catalog description

This elective is designed to empower students with essential tools and techniques for cultivating healthy coping mechanisms to manage stress effectively. The Positive Neuroplasticity elective is rooted in the transformative science of enhancing brain function. Through this experiential education program, students will learn to counteract the brain’s natural negativity bias and convert positive experiences into lasting inner resources. These resources may include resilience, emotional balance, grit, patience, generosity, a positive mindset, mindfulness, confidence, a sense of being valued, self-awareness, and compassion. Such strengths are vital for navigating stress, overcoming life’s challenges, and enriching the support we offer to others.
