Catalog description

This course focuses on the processes of aligning curriculum development, instructional practices, and assessments. The course examines curricular and instructional models to engage all learners; it also examines approaches to learning standards and the relationship with learner-centered educational approaches to teaching. Instructionally, the course surveys foundational mindsets, research-based instructional strategies, and student motivation through the lens of relevant and appropriate practices for all learners. Students will engage in case studies that provide multiple opportunities to put theory into practice.
