An advanced and comprehensive introduction to organic chemistry, reaction mechanisms, and their physical underpinnings. This small class if focused on building a thorough and detailed understanding of organic chemistry. Evaluations will be based on non-standard testing, e.g., open-book and/or (effectively) open-ended testing. Three hours of lecture per week.
