Accounting Information Systems

Catalog description

This course integrates accounting and information systems, beginning with how accounting data is captured, processed, and communicated. The course introduces the student to the technology, procedures, and controls that are necessary to the development, use, internal control, and maintenance of computer systems. CPA Exam coverage of the information systems area is emphasized particularly in the final third of the course.
