Catalog description

Writing intensive course designed to strengthen college level writing skills, with particular attention to exploring rhetorical situations, and an introduction to information literacy. Focus on drafting, revising and editing is also emphasized. Additionally, critical reading strategies of college-level texts are developed. This course is adapted to and specifically supports the development of communication skills of multilingual learners. This course satisfies the English 101 requirement for non-native English speakers.
