- Hospital Clinical Experience for the Paramedic Units: 4-7

Catalog description

This course allows the paramedic student to apply learned classroom skills and knowledge in the hospital environment such as telemetry, intensive care unit, psychiatric unit, emergency department, and labor and delivery. The student will function under the direction of a nurse or paramedic preceptor. This course satisfies 15 embedded hours toward specified programs and certificates for AAS Human Relations General Education requirements.
