Catalog description
This course reviews and evaluates students' knowledge, values, and skills related to CSWE competencies and the NASW Code of Ethics. It emphasizes effective verbal and non-verbal communication, interpersonal skills, and professional readiness. Students develop résumés, practice interviewing, and complete activities required to obtain an approved field placement. The course also reviews state and federal laws and regulations relevant to social work practice.
