Catalog description

This course is designed to give graduate students an understanding of the history, purposes, fundamental policies and administrative organization of the NCAA. The student will gain sufficient working knowledge of the Operating Bylaws of the NCAA Manual and learn to apply NCAA rules and regulations to compliance and related scenarios. In addition the student will learn the basic principles of institutional control of an intercollegiate athletics program and the basic components and appplications of an institutional compliance program.
