Catalog description

This course introduces students to stars, galaxies, and cosmology, covering the life cycle of stars, stellar remnants such as black holes, neutron stars, and white dwarfs, and the types of galaxies. Students will study the large-scale structure of the universe, explore dark matter and the evidence supporting its existence, and learn about cosmological simulations used to model the evolution of the universe.
