Catalog description
The practicum is designed to provide a supervised experience related to instruction in the area of literacy development, which may include phonemic awareness, phonics, fluency, vocabulary, sequencing, and comprehension, among others. The application of literacy skills, concepts, and principles acquired in co-requisite course work, as well as current research-and evidence-based literacy instructional practices, will be hallmarks of this practicum experience.
