Catalog description

This course develops knowledge and strategies in literacy instruction for grades PK-6. Teacher candidates will examine current theories and research from the body of science of reading research. Specific emphasis will be placed on instructional strategies in reading fluency, vocabulary, reading comprehension, and writing.
