Catalog description

This course provides foundational skills of communicating nutrition science to individuals, groups, and the public through various formats, including oral, written, and multimedia. Educational theories, cultural competence, and health literacy will be considered while training the students in the use of motivational interviewing, negotiation, and counseling skills, and engagement through mass media.
